I took an unusual path to becoming a wedding officiant.  I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economic and Public Policy Studies from Duke University and Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance.  This led me to a career on Wall Street where I worked at Merrill Lynch for sometime and was quite happy.  My day to day responsibilities dealing with retirement plans and personal trust accounts and my participation in my church choir led me to do quite a bit of event planning and public speaking.  One day many years later a client asked me to officiate his wedding and the merging of the two things I love to do began.I write and design an original program for every wedding I officiate.  This is your special day and I make my contribution special as well.  I have an amusing/amazing life story and it brings me no greater joy than to share what I have learned along life’s journey to bring a spark to your special day,  I adopt the philosophy that every day above ground is a good day and this is definitely the mindset you need to maintain when planning your wedding which can be equally joyous and frustrating at the same time. I have been told many times that I have missed my life’s calling as a comedienne.  My services are multi-faceted and interesting just as this next step in your life will be.  Don’t worry if your request will be a little different or too traditional it is your day and I am only here to help faceplate your wishes.  I am creative and spontaneous so you can do anything from releasing doves to quoting the traditional love honor and obey.  Remember this is your day and it should be your way
